Useful
forms for selling your own home |
| If you are
currently selling your own home, you may find the following
forms useful. Feel free to download and use any forms that
fit your needs. Since laws vary by state, it is always a
good idea to check with an attorney or licensed real estate
agent before signing any forms or entering into any agreement
with another party.
You will need
the free Adobe
Acrobat Reader to open and print most of these forms.
Also feel free to contact
me if you have problems downloading any of these forms and I
will be happy to fax or email them to you. |
| Purchase
Contract - The agreement between a
buyer and a seller on terms and conditions of sale. Again, check
with your state real estate department to see if there is a
required form. |
| Purchase
Contract Contingency Clauses: In addition to the contract,
you may need to add one or more attachments to the contract to
address special contingencies—such as the buyer's need to sell
a home before purchasing yours. |
| Counter
Offer - form used to make a counter proposal to a
buyer's original offer. |
| Land
Contract - installment contract drawn between a buyer and a
seller for the sale of property, in which ownership of the
property is not transferred until all the payments have been
made. |
| HUD
Settlement Statement - The HUD-1 settlement statement is the
standard real estate settlement form that is used for
federally-related mortgage loans. |
| Ohio
Property Disclosure Form: This form requires you to reveal
all known defects to your property. Check with your state
government to see if there is a special form required in your
state. |
| Lead-Based
Paint Disclosure - If your home was built before 1978,
you must provide the disclosure to all buyers. You must also
have buyers sign a statement indicating they received the
pamphlet. Download the HUD Fact
Sheet here. |
